My health insurance card has a registered place of initial medical examination and treatment which is a provincial hospital, so can the medical examination at the polyclinic in the same area be tertiary integrated?
As prescribed in Clause 4 Article 22 of the Law on Health Insurance, the insured that register primary medical care at commune-level health centers, polyclinics or district-level hospitals may receive health insurance-covered medical care at the benefit levels at commune-level health centers, polyclinics or district-level hospitals in the same province.
Thus, the case you register for initial medical care at a provincial hospital will not apply the above provisions when going to the polyclinic in the same province.
