How is the administrative procedure 'Settling the enjoyment of occupational accident and disease benefits for first-time cases' carried out?

Based on point 4.1, clause 4, Section III of the Appendix accompanying Decision No. 896/QD-BHXH of the Director-General of Vietnam Social Insurance, the procedure for implementing this administrative procedure is as follows:

Submitting documents: The employer submits documents in one of the following forms:

o Via electronic transactions: Create electronic records, sign digitally, and submit them to the Public Service Portal of Vietnam Social Insurance or through I-VAN organization; if the paper documents are not converted to electronic format, send the paper documents to the social insurance agency by post within 30 days from the date of receiving complete documents from the employee.

o Via postal services.

o Directly at the social insurance agency.

Receiving results:

a. The employer receives relevant documents in the registered form to return to the employee (directly at the social insurance agency, via postal services, or through electronic transactions).

b. The employee receives benefits in one of the following forms:

• Through a personal bank account.

• Directly at the social insurance agency (for one-time benefits) or through postal services.

In case of authorizing someone else to receive on behalf, follow the regulations in the Public Service "Authorize the receipt of various social insurance benefits" or the original contract of authorization as required by law.
