I am 55 years old this year, have participated in social insurance for 22 years and is eligible for retirement. Can I pay for another 8 years? And what regime will I benefit from?

Point c, Clause 1, Article 5 of the Circular No. 01/2016/TT-BLDTBXH dated February 18, 2016 of the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs stipulates: “Where the participants of social insurance are eligible for entitlement to their pension but still continue their participation in voluntary social insurance, the time to enjoy their pension is the 1st date of the month succeeding the month of stoppage of payment of voluntary social insurance premium to request the pension entitlement.”

As you did not provide enough information about the gender, the 22 years of social insurance progress and the time for pension entitlement, we are not able to answer specifically about the calculation of your benefits.
