My mother is 55 years old and have worked for 15 to 20 years. She is eligible for benefits from May 1, 2010. However, she completed her entitlement procedures by 2016. Does she get retroactive allowance increase for work capacity loss as of May 1, 2010?

Article 50 of the 2006 Law on Social Insurance stipulates as follows:

Article 50.- Conditions for enjoying retirement pensions

1. Employees defined at Points a, b, c and e, Clause 1, Article 2 of this Law who have paid social insurance premiums for twenty or more years shall be entitled to retirement pension in one of the following cases:

A) Men when reach sixty years old, women when reach fifty five years old;

B) Men aged from 55 to 60 year old, women from 50 to 55 year old, and have at least 15 years working in heavy, hazardous or dangerous occupations as listed by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Health, or at least 15 years working at the area that has the allowance coefficient of 0.7 or higher. In some specific cases, the age required to receive pension payment is stipulated by the Government. "
