Clause 21, Article 12 of the 2008 Law on Health Insurance stipulates that pupils are participants of the health insurance scheme. Point b, Clause 4, Article 12 of the 2014 amended and supplemented Law on Health Insurance continues to stipulate that pupils and students need to participate in health insurance scheme with under the State Budget support part of the contribution.

Point I, Clause 1, Article 13 of the 2014 amended and supplemented Law on Health Insurance stipulates that the monthly contribution of subjects defined in Clause 4, Article 12 of this Law shall be 6% the basic monthly salary max, and be partly supported by the state budget.

As a result, your child is covered by health insurance with their contribution partly subsidized by state budget.
