On August 3, 2923, Vietnam Social Security (VSS) successfully upgraded and implemented the function of verifying the payment information of participants in social and health insurance. On the same afternoon, the Director-General of VSS, Nguyen The Manh, conducted an inspection of the implementation of this function at several collection service organizations in Hanoi.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved an US$80 million loan to build and equip two new facilities of Hanoi Medical University and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City, with the aim to increase the annual undergraduate enrolment capacity by 2,200 and produce 1,863 additional health professional graduates from 2032.
