On September 17, the 36th ASEAN Social Security Association continued with two panels on “Innovations in information technology” and “Social welfares” in which representatives of member organisations would deliver presentations on experiences and impacts of their own organisations. At the panel entitled “Innovations in information technology”, Viet Nam Social Security had a presentation on the implementation of the multimedia interactive system in working with people and businesses.

After the opening ceremony, delegates at the 36th ASEAN Social Security Association (ASSA) Board Meeting attended a plenary session themed “Information Technology and Communication: Innovations in Social Security Services”. During the discussion, a representative from the International Social Security Association (ISSA), Raul Ruggia-Frick made a presentation themed “Technology for social security: Global trends and vision”.

The 36th Board Meeting of the ASEAN Social Security Association (ASSA 36) kicked off its two-day event on September 17 in Brunei, under the theme “Information Technology and Communication: Innovation in Social Security Services”. The meeting witnessed the attendance of representatives from the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the International Social Security Association and 20 member organisations of ASSA.
