The entire VSS Industry continues to strengthen measures to prevent and control Covid-19 pandemic

On August 3rd, 2021, VSS issued Official Letter No. 2333/BHXH-VP to affiliated units and Social Security Agencies in provinces and direct-administered municipalities on strengthening measures to prevent and control Covid-19 pandemic in accordance with PM’s Official Dispatch No. 1063/CD-TTg.

VSS requested that, in the face of complicated developments of Covid-19 epidemic, the Heads of affiliated units and the directors of Social Security Agencies in provinces and cities (hereinafter referred to as the Heads of the units) should thoroughly grasp and promptly and properly implement, and fully take preventive measures to Covid-19 in accordance with the directions, instructions and requirements of PM’s Official Dispatch No. 1063/CD-TTg and documents issued by local authorities; in which attention should be paid to the implementation of the following activities:

1. Based on the nature, requirements, tasks and actual situation, the Heads of the units shall actively formulate plans to organize the task performance, arrange for bureaucrats, government officials and employees to work from home and work at the office, minimize face-to-face activities, switch to working online and making online transactions, strictly implement of the social distancing as required by local authorities, serve the best interests of social, unemployment and health insurance participants and the prevention of Covid-19 epidemic in accordance with regulations.

2. To direct and request bureaucrats, government officials and employees of the unit not to move out of the residential province or city during the social distancing period in accordance with Directive No. 16/CT-TTg (except for special cases permitted by competent authorities). Heads of the units will be responsible in case bureaucrats, government officials and employees leave the locality on their own during the social distancing period; spread the disease due to non-observance of regulations on the prevention and control of the epidemic.

3. Particularly for the affiliated units under VSS system:

To strictly implement the arrangement of bureaucrats, government officials and employees to work from home; only working in offices in truly necessary cases, such as: Be on duty, process confidential documents and perform urgent tasks as required; Simultaneously require bureaucrats, government officials and employees of the unit not to leave the house unless necessary, particularly not to move out of Hanoi city during the social distancing period, except for special cases permitted by the competent authority (ensure to comply with the requirements of Hanoi People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 2468/UBND-KGVX dated July 31st, 2021, Official Dispatch No. 17/CD-UBND dated August 1st, 2021 on the implementation of urgent measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic in Hanoi city).

Heads of the affiliated units will be responsible in case bureaucrats, government officials and employees move out of Hanoi city on their own during the social distancing period; spread the disease due to non-observance of regulations on the prevention and control of epidemic.
