Accordingly, following Official Letter No. 1098/BHXH-VP dated April 28, 2021, Official Dispatch No. 1142/BHXH-VP dated May 3, 2021 of the VSS on strengthening measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic, ensuring benefits for participants of social, health and unemployment insurance; In the face of the COVID-19 epidemic underlying complicated and unpredictable developments, there has been a re-emergence of a dangerous spreading in the community. Therefore, in order to further strengthening the epidemic prevention and control measures, especially to ensure the implementation of "the dual goals" in accordance with the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister, VSS requires affiliated units and social security agencies of provinces and cities to implement a number of contents.

Specifically: Heads of the affiliated units and directors of social security agencies of provinces and cities shall, based on the nature, requirements, work tasks and actual situation of the units, actively develop plans to organize the implementation of tasks services, assign tasks for the public servants and employees flexibly and appropriately (in person and online); ensure timely, effective and high-quality settlement of jobs according to their assigned functions and tasks, best serve the interests of participants in social, health and unemployment insurance and the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic according to the law. Accordingly, the implementation period will start from May 27, 2021 until the next notice of the VSS.

Employees in the industry are responsible for strictly, fully and promptly implementing the epidemic prevention and control regulations of the Government, the Prime Minister, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Epidemic Prevention and Control, the Ministry of Health, health authorities, Party committees, local authorities, local health agencies and the VSS.
