The platform is a communication channel boosting internal relations of State administrative agencies and making important contributions to building e-Government.

Minister and Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung said following the Government's decree and the Prime Minister's decision, the Government Office collaborated with the VNPT Group to develop the Government Report Platform.

Its function is to collect and integrate data reported by the State administrative agencies in order to review and analyse data for the administration of the Government and the Prime Minister.

The system has so far had 19 report functions of ten ministries and agencies, namely ministries of finance, planning and investment, health, transport, natural resources and environment, industry and trade, information and communications, education and training, the VSS and the Government Office.

According to the Administrative Procedure Management Department under the Government Office, the digitalisation and automatic review helps save more than VND1 billion (US$43,500) for one report and reduce the number of working days (more than 4,700 days).

If all the reports at commune, district, provincial, ministerial and sectorial levels are digitised and connected to the Government Report Platform, around VND460 billion ($20 million) will be saved each year from the State budget.

The platform also renovates working methods, enhances openness, transparency and improves accountability of State administrative agencies.

The system also creates and stores systematic information and data, synchronises and allows data comparison, cross-checking from different sources. It contributes to improving the capacity and quality of information review work, serving the administration of authorities.

Expressing delight at the launch of the Government Report Platform with many important components that directly benefit the Government, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc requested ministries, branches and localities to urgently complete the system’s construction.

Ministries and agencies were ordered to integrate, connect and share data with the platform to create the national reporting system to serve the work of administrative agencies./.
