Accordingly, Article 6 of Decision No 1518 / QD-BHXH on “Tasks and powers of Viet Nam Social Security and social insurance agencies in inspection activities” is added with Clause 2 as: “Advising, proposing, guiding the inspection, examination and supervision of activities of inspection teams, monitoring, urging and examining the handling of conclusions, recommendations and decisions assigned by inspection departments.”

Article 20 of Decision No 1518 / QD-BHXH on "Standards for heads of inspection teams" is amended and supplemented with Clauses 2 and 3 as:

"2. A head of an inspection team of Viet Nam Social Security is a leader of the central Inspection Department or a leader of the Collection Department; a head of a provincial social insurance agency’s inspection team is a leader of the provincial social insurance agency or a head, deputy head of the inspection department, the collection management department, or director of a district social insurance branch assigned by the director of provincial social insurance agency and must have a certificate of professional training for inspectors or a certificate of completion of a specialised inspection training course on payment of social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance issued by an authorised agency.

3. A head of an inspection team of Viet Nam Social Security is a department head, deputy head or equivalent; a head of the inspection team of the provincial social insurance agency is a department head or deputy head of a director of a district social insurance branch assigned by the director of the provincial social insurance agency.”

Decision No 1300 / QD-BHXH takes effect from October 4, 2019. /.
