The VSS portal promotes its position as the official communication channel of the industry

In the first 6 months of 2024, the Vietnam Social Seccurity Portal continues to be promoted as the official communication channel of the industry, being the focal point for providing information on social, unemployment, and health insurance; Promptly reflect the Party’s guidelines and policies, the State’s laws on social, health and unemployment insurance; Regulations and guidelines of VSS in conducting the implementation of social, unemployment and health insurance policies; Direction and administration of VSS’ Leaders; The contents of the draft Law on Social Insurance (amended), Law on Health Insurance (amended) have an impact on the rights and interests of employees and the People; Solutions to overcome the delay in payment and evasion of payment of social and health insurance to ensure the legitimate interests of employees; Digital transformation and the results of the  implementation of Project 06 of the VSS industry. As well as the efforts and initiative of the VSS industry in ensuring the best benefits for participants and beneficiaries of social, health and unemployment insurance policies; The collection and coverage of participants of the VSS industry. At the same time, promote communication on the implementation of social, health and unemployment insurance policies in localities; Information on outstanding economic and social security issues of the country; world social security...

It can be affirmed that the information and communication on the VSS Portal is increasingly methodical, professional, timely, accurate, oriented and pervasive, contributing to creating a social consensus in the implementation of social, health and unemployment insurance policies, which are exploited and used by press agencies, especially, by the electronic newspapers. For important contents and events such as the National Assembly discussing the draft Law on  Social Insurance (amended) at the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly; Month of mobilization and implementation of universal social insurance with the theme “Social insurance - Peace of mind for all families; - May; all implement  communication activities before, during and after the events. Forms of communication continue to be innovated, enhanced with modern media products such as video clips, infographics, motion graphics, images, etc.

In particular, the VSS Portal has implement in pilot the Audio to summarize weekly news  to provide information on social, health, and unemployment insurance policies quickly, conveniently and easily.

Along with that, build up the Column  “Celebrating 30 years establishment of VSS” on the VSS Portal is implemented promptly to provide information on activities towards the 30th anniversary of the establishment of VSS, thereby, contributing to conduct traditional education for cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees in the VSS industry; at the same time, raise the awareness of the people and businesses about the role, position and importance of social, health and unemployment insurance in ensuring social security for the people. As a result, in the first 6 months of 2024, the total number of news, articles and documents have been posted on the VSS E-Portal (Vietnamese version) is nearly 1,000, contributing to attracting more than 47 million acesses to the Portal.

In addition, the English version Portal has promptly provided information and images about the industry’s activities and implementation of social, health and unemployment insurance regimes and policies towards international partners, employees, FDI foreign-invested enterprises in Vietnam,  overseas Vietnamese community.

The English version Portal has been operating  effectively and stably in the direction of simplicity, easy search, and high applicability, meeting the requirements of international integration in the new situation.

 In the first 6 months of 2024, nearly 400 news and articles have been posted on the Portal, accumulating since the establishment of the Portal, attracting more than 7.9 million visits.

Also in the first 6 months of 2024, the industry social media channels (Fanpage, Zalo of VSS) have continued to effectively promote for communication on social, unemployment, and health insurance policies in the online environment. Forms of information such as videos, infographics, motiongraphics, reportage... posted on the Fanpage, Zalo of VSS has attracted a large amount of access. With the advantages of social networks in terms of spread and high interactivity, Fanpage, Zalo of VSS has provide information about social, unemployment, and health insurance policies for a large number of social network users.

As a result, in the first 6 months of 2024: The VSS Fanpage has posted nearly 200 news, articles and videos, attracting more than 2 million people, nearly 200,000 interactions, so far, there have been 55,000 followers of the page (an increase of 28,000 people over the same period in 2023). In particular, the video (motion graphic) “Enjoying pension or receive one-time social insurance: Which form brings greater benefits” received great attention, after only 13 days of posting (from June 4 to June 17,  2024), the video has attracted nearly 1.8 million viewers with more than 11,000 likes and more than 8,400 shares, more than 900comments; Zalo of VSS has posted over 300 news articles, attracted nearly 500,000 views, more than 30,000 shares and has had over 52,000 people interested.

In particular, it has actively coordinated with and requested Facebook to grant green ticks to 54 Fanpages of provincial and municipal social security offices. Along with that, the it is requested to establish a Youtube channel of VSS in pilot in order to continue to diversify communication channels, thereby, widely communicating social, health, unemployment insurance policies and activities of the VSS industry to all levels of the people.

Thanks to continuous efforts, the VSS Portal has been increasingly affirming its position as the official communication channel of the VSS industry. The VSS portal makes an important contribution to raising awareness of the people and businesses about social, health and unemployment insurance, contributing to the effective implementation of the goal of ensuring social security for the people./.
