Resetting VssID password

To reset the password through the Virtual Assistant on the 1900.9068 hotline, users can follow these steps:

Step 1: Using the phone number registered with the VssID account, call the 1900.9068 hotline and press number 8 to select the function of resetting the VssID password and follow the instructions.

Step 2: The virtual assistant will ask you to provide the social insurance identification number for which you want to reset the password. After you provide the identification number, the system will check the phone number you are calling from and the social insurance identification number. If they match the data managed by VSS, the virtual assistant will read out the new password for you (the new password will be repeated once for you to remember). If they do not match, the virtual assistant will notify you that "the phone number and insurance number do not match or have not been registered with the social insurance agency."

Step 3: End the call.

Note: The call charge for the 1900.9068 hotline is 1,000 Vietnamese dong per minute, and this charge is paid to the service provider of the hotline.

1 - Use the "Forgot password" function in the VssID application or the "Forgot password" function on the website https://dichvucong.baohiemxahoi.gov.vn (this method requires the VssID account to have an associated email address);

2 - Reset the password through the Virtual Assistant on the 1900.9068 hotline (extension number 8).
