The social and health insurance plays a key role in Viet Nam’ social security system
Over the years, the Party and the State of Vietnam have always paid attention to leading, directing, formulating and implementing policies on social security in general, social and health insurance in particular in order to promote social progress and social justice, considering this both a goal and a driving force to sustainably develop the country and demonstrate the good nature of Vietnamese regime. In Vietnam, social and health insurance is the key role in the social security.

Human resource and social security development is attached with international economy integration
According to ILO, Viet Nam has a relatively well developed social protection system. The Government, the Party and the Social Partners in Viet Nam remain dedicated and focus on strengthening Vietnam's social protection system. Social security is a well-established human right in international law. Everyone, as a member of society, has the right to social security and is entitled to realization, through national effort and international co-operation and in accordance with the organization and resources of each State, of the economic, social and cultural rights indispensable for. In Viet Nam, Social security is one of the basic criteria for assessing progress of a society, a community, and a country.

In Vietnam, ensuring social protection is always regarded as regular mission of the State and the whole society. Viet Nam has a relatively well-developed, multi-pillar social protection system with social and health insurance, social assistance, and social care services. Social protection as a right of Vietnamese citizens is firmly embedded in the country’s legal fabric, and political will to strengthen its implementation appears to have increased in the past decade.

Health insurace is universally covered in Germany
Health insurance in Germany is obligatory for all residents, including researchers and scientists coming from abroad to work here for the short or long term. Today’s system provides coverage for the entire population, along with a generous benefit package.

Established in July 2010, the UN Women is the UN entity dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women and Vietnam elected to UN Women’s Executive Board for 2025-2027.
