The nationwide action month, with the theme “Acting together to eliminate AIDS”, marks World AIDS Day on December 1.

The action month will last from November 10 to December 10 this year.

The National Committee asked the steering committees for prevention and control of AIDS, drugs and prostitution under ministries, sectors, provinces and cities to set up plans for the action month. The plans must be suitable to the specific conditions of each locality and organisation. 

The steering committees should give guidance and supervise all activities during the action month.

When the action month ends, the steering committees must write a summary and send the report to the Vietnam Administration of HIV/AIDS Control under the Ministry of Health at No 8 Ton That Thuyet Street, My Dinh 2 Ward, Nam Tu Liem District in Ha Noi.

The report should be sent before December 20 so that the Ministry of Health can summarise and submit it to the Government and Chairman of the National Committee for Prevention and Control of AIDS, Drugs and Prostitution./.
