The 36th Board Meeting of the ASEAN Social Security Association (ASSA 36) kicked off its two-day event on September 17 in Brunei, under the theme “Information Technology and Communication: Innovation in Social Security Services”. The meeting witnessed the attendance of representatives from the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the International Social Security Association and 20 member organisations of ASSA.

Viet Nam Social Security, in conjunction with Ha Tinh Province’s Social Security and Thach Ha District, have presented health insurance cards for impoverished students at 19 schools in the locality. The ‘Presenting health insurance cards – sharing care and love’ programme was held on September 16 at the Huong Dien – Nam Huong Secondary School with the aim of accelerating the dissemination of information on health insurance policies to increase the number of people signing up and encouraging everyone to join the health insurance network. At the event, people also got the chance to learn more about health insurance policies.
