VSS: Shortening dossiers' processing time for down to no more than a working day

On July 26th, VSS issued Official Dispatch No. 2218/BHXH-TST to local social security agencies on the implementation of supporting policies for employees and employers struggling amid Covid -19 pandemic.
Followed by Official Letter No. 2062/BHXH-TST dated July 15th, 2021 and Official Letter No. 2157/BHXH-TST dated July 21st, 2021 of VSS on the implementation of supporting policies for employees and employers, in accordance with Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP dated July 1st, 2021 of the Government and Decision No. 23/2021/QD-TTg dated July 7th 2021 of PM, VSS required social security agencies of provinces and direct-administered municipalities to implement the following contents:
Assign leaders and officials to proactively contact with enterprises struggling amid Covid-19 pandemic to urge and guide these enterprises to prepare dossiers solution, then send to the social security agency to temporarily suspend the contributions to the retirement and survivorship fund; support employers in training and retraining to improve vocational skills for employees in order to maintain their jobs; confirm the Lists: Appendix I of Form No. 02, Form No. 05, Form No. 06, Form No. 13a, Form No. 13b, Form No. 13c according to the provisions of Decision No. 23/2021/QD-TTg;

Upon the receipt of enterprises’ dossiers, the processing time shall be adjusted to last no more than 01 working day. In case there are inadequate documents and errors, it should be sent immediately back to the enterprises for further supplementation and completion...
Over the time, VSS has actively reformed administrative procedures with IT applications to bring the highest convenience and utilities to people, highlighted by the launching of VssID - Digital Social Security app. With the VssID application, people now can settle at home and make electronic transactions with social security agencies without physically giving to the social security agencies’ headquarters. As a result, people in large provinces and cities still have their rights and policies guaranteed during the social distancing period due to COVID-19; thereby, contributing to the protection of public security and order and to the prevention of the COVID-19 epidemic.
