According to statistics, so far, 167 social insurance books and 5,058 health insurance cards have been distributed to the poor and disadvantaged in Quang Binh province from the program of giving social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances, launched by the VSS.

At the awarding ceremony, VSS Deputy General Director Nguyen Duc Hoa said that over the years, the VSS has launched and implemented various programs to give away social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances nationwide, with funding contributed from the salaries of civil servants, public employees and workers in the whole Industry and other support sources. Especially over the past 2 years, sharing with the difficulties that people have encountered during the Covid-19 pandemic, the VSS has given thousands of social insurance books and health insurance cards, and promptly encouraged workers and people of the whole country.

In order to continue to spread the human values of this activity, on November 23, 2022, VSS General Director launched a program to give social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances with the desire to both spiritually and financially help people in difficult circumstances reduce the burden of medical treatment costs thanks to health insurance cards whenever unfortunately sick; have the opportunity to participate in voluntary social insurance to enjoy pension and health care in old age.

With a total of 167 social insurance books and 5,058 health insurance cards were given in Quang Binh province, of which 50 health insurance cards given to disadvantaged students at Guangdong Primary School are the affection of civil servants of the VSS, donors at the central government, and local businesses to share the hope of bringing a warm Tet to the poor and disadvantaged across the country.
