30 social insurance books and 30 health insurance cards were delivered to people with difficult circumstances in Thien Loc, Vuong Loc, Xuan Loc communes and Nghen town, Can Loc district, Ha Tinh province.

At the awarding ceremony, VSS Deputy General Director Nguyen Duc Hoa emphasized our nation's tradition of mutual love, and "the leaves protect tattered ones". The VSS industry, with the responsibility of ensuring the country's social security, organizing the implementation of social and health insurance, always wants to support people most effectively in all aspects.

Giving the social insurance book and health insurance card to each person in difficult circumstances, the VSS Deputy General Director hopes that this gift will partly share the burden of life when they are unfortunately ill. Moreover, more and more people will be guaranteed with income when they reach the end of working age by participating in social insurance.

He added that, through the program "Giving social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances" launched by the VSS, so far, across Ha Tinh province, 230 social insurance books and 480 health insurance cards have been given to people with difficult circumstances in Ha Tinh province. This is the affection of the VSS staff, donors at the central government, and local businesses in the hope of bringing a warm Tet to the poor and disadvantaged in Ha Tinh province.

On behalf of the Party Committee, authorities and people who were given social insurance books and health insurance cards, Chairman of the Can Loc Fatherland Front Committee - Bui Thi Kieu Nhi would like to thank the good deeds of the Vietnamese social insurance industry and enterprises as benefactors has brought joy and happiness to families with difficult circumstances in Can Loc district. In the coming time, Can Loc district will continue to direct the Party committees and local authorities to strengthen propaganda, strive to achieve and exceed the targets on social and health insurance assigned by the Provincial People's Committee and the VSS. At the same time, the district-level People's Council will soon issue a Resolution to support people to participate in social and health insurance from the district budget.

Touched by the given social insurance book by the VSS, Ms. My (Vuong Loc commune) said, for needy people like her, this is a humane gift and has great meaning. Although the conditions are difficult, she will always spend an amount of money to continue participating in voluntary social insurance, so that in the future, she will have a happy and peaceful old age without being dependent on her children and grandchildren. At the same time, she would propagate in her family, neighbors and friends who have not participated in voluntary social insurance to understand the long-term benefits that this policy brings.
