Some provinces have achieved outstanding results in the development of household-based health insurance participants such as: Ho Chi Minh City (3,142 people); Tien Giang (2,167 people); Thanh Hoa (2,718 people); etc.

The provinces have organized about 6,250 communication teams, providing direct consultations to markets, trade centers, production facilities, etc., combined with distributing thousands of media publications (the brochure “Things to know about voluntary social insurance”, “Benefits of participating in voluntary social, health insurance”, “Things to know about household health insurance”). Thereby, it could directly approach, propagate and mobilize about 151,213 people.

The launching ceremony to respond to Vietnam Health Insurance Day - July 1 - communicating and mobilizing people to participate in voluntary social insurance and household-based health insurance with the theme "Health insurance - for the health and happiness of all families" has created momentum and movement for civil servants, officials and employees of the social insurance industry to join hands to promote the propagation and dissemination of policies on social and health insurance in general and voluntary social insurance and household-based health insurance in particular to all people, contributing to ensuring social security in the area. This ceremony has promoted the role of the social security agency, the Post Office and the system of organizing the collection of social and health insurance premiums at all levels in the combination of various forms of communication: mobile communication; direct consultation at central markets, residential areas, households, etc.; organization of direct policy consultation conferences indensely populated areas, etc.
