VSS: Training on collection and development of participants of social and health insurance in 2022

In the morning of July 7, 2022, in Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province, Vietnam Social Security (VSS) held a conference to train some contents on collection and development of participants of social and health insurance in 2022 for social security offices in 16 provinces and cities in the Central region. Deputy General Director of VSS Tran Dinh Lieu attended and delivered a speech at the conference.

At the conference, Deputy General Director Tran Dinh Lieu affirmed that collection is one of the most important tasks of Vietnam's social insurance industry and at present, after the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, the collection of social, health and unemployment insurance has prospered with an increase in the number of participants compared to the end of 2021.

The above results, according to Lieu, are thanks to the attention and drastic direction of the Party, State and Government. Support policies for employees and employers participating in social and health insurance have been promptly launched along with the efforts and initiative of the local social security agencies in implementing tasks and solutions assigned by the VSS to achieve outstanding results.

The Deputy General Director suggested that local social security agencies should recognize and properly assess the development of social and health insurance participants in their localities compared with the national average to share solutions and orientations as well as raise difficulties and problems to solve them at the conference.

According to Lieu, this conference aims to promptly train and guide new contents related to regulations on the management of activities of organizing the collection service of social and health insurance (Decision 1155/QD-BHXH) and the process of exploiting customer conferences (Dispatch No. 1108/BHXH-TST) for the local social security agency to implement well in the coming time.

The conference was held on 7 and 8 July 2022. The content of the conference focused on orienting solutions to develop social and health insurance participants and urging debt collection; inform and guide new contents related to Decision No. 1155/QD-BHXH dated May 12, 2022 on promulgating regulations on management of activities of collecting service organizations of social and health insurance and Official Letter No. 1108/BHXH-TST dated April 28, 2022 on guiding the organization of Customer Conference in the period of 2022-2024. Also at the conference, representatives of the Customer Care Center (VSS) will present and introduce skills in organizing conferences to develop audiences and through a presentation report on the innovation of communication content and forms in terms of developing participants in social and health insurance of the Information and Communication Center (VSS)./.
