The move aims to create a long-term effect in order to rapidly develop and sustainably maintain participants of social insurance.

In Thai Binh Province, officials of the branch worked with the provincial Post Office to launch a campaign to disseminate social and health insurance policies to local people.

Under the campaign, eight teams, each with a car and 15 motorbikes and equipped with loudspeakers to disseminate social insurance policies, paraded on local streets and distributed leaflets to residents.

After the march, the teams were divided into small groups to go to 170 communes, wards and townships to advise residents on voluntary social insurance policies and encourage local people to participate.

The team answered many questions about the policies of voluntary social insurance and household health insurance including the payment level, procedures to participate and benefits of the policies.

Many people realised the benefits of voluntary social insurance and household health insurance, so they registered to participate.

According to a quick summary at the end of May 8, there were 367 people registering to participate in voluntary social insurance and 127 people registering to participate in household health insurance in the province.

In Ha Noi, Director of the branch Nguyen Duc Hoa pointed out the determination to achieve at least 50 people participating in voluntary social insurance per district at the launch ceremony, contributing to the completion of the plan set by the branch and the local Post Office and striving towards the goal of universal social insurance.

After the ceremony, teams went on main roads in the city to convey messages about the meaning and benefits of participating in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance.

Staff of the branch and the local post office came to each household to mobilise them to participate in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance.

In Binh Thuan Province, the branch and the local post office co-organised the launch ceremony with the aim to attract 480 participants in voluntary social insurance and 720 participants in health insurance.

The branch planned that it would continue disseminating the value and benefits of the social and health insurance policies after the ceremony, thereby creating a long-term effect in order to quickly develop and sustainably maintain participants in the social security system.

In Lam Dong Province, Tran Van Son, director of the branch, said staff members of the branch and the local post office visited local streets in cars and motorbikes to encourage people to participate in social and health insurance after the ceremony.

In Yen Bai Province, deputy head of the provincial branch Pham Cong Cuong launched the ceremony with the slogan "Social insurance and Post office of Yen Bai Province are determined to realise the goal of social and health insurance for all local people".

The launch ceremony was attended by representatives of the People’s Committee at all levels, the provincial Commission for Communication and Education, the War, Invalids and Social Affairs Department and relevant agencies.

After the launch ceremony, over 200 staff of the branch and local post office, divided into small groups and visited traditional markets and residential groups to disseminate social and health insurance policies and encourage local people to participate.
