From January 1, 2016, social security agencies are assigned with the function of specialized inspection to pay social, health and unemployment insurance under the Law on Social Insurance No. 58/2014/QH13 dated November 20th, 2014. Until now, the specialized inspection function of Vietnam's social security industry has shown remarkable results in the development of social and health insurance participants, ensuring accurate and adequate collection and reduction of arrears of social, health insurance, effectively contributing to protecting the interests and welfare of employees.
