They must fully implement information security plan that has been submitted for approval and complete the mission before December 31, 2024.

They must strictly implement the VSS’s Official Dispatch No 3608/BHXH-CNTT dated November 25, 2022 on promoting the implementation of information security incident response activities.

The VSS units need to make sure that there is a contact point for exchanging, sharing information, and reporting information security incidents.

Each unit must send personnel to join the VSS information security incident response team.

Units must be provided with the following handbooks: Preventing and minimising risks from ransomware attacks, Identifying and preventing online fraud; and, level-by-level instructions for enhancing information system security and complying with legal rules.

The National Information Security Incident Response Coordination Platform is a must-use resource for them to stay informed about information security threats, incidents, and how to handle them quickly.

They have been asked to frequently update notices, warnings and recommendations of specialised information security agencies on types of cyber attacks and information security risks.
