Step 1: For health insurance-covered medical examination and treatment establishments In the first 15 days of each month, a health insurance-covered medical care provider shall send dossiers of request for payment of health insurance-covered medical care costs of the preceding month to the social insurance agency, made according to Forms No. C79a-HD, C80a-HD, 19/BHYT, 20/BHYT, 21/BHYT, (together enclosed with data files via the Internet); Step 2: For social insurance agency Within 30 days after receiving dossiers of settlement report from a medical examination and treatment establishment, the social insurance agency shall notify the latter of the assessment result and the settled health insurance-covered medical care costs, which cover actual medical care costs within the scope and levels of health insurance benefits; In the following 10 days, the social insurance agency shall organize the signing of report on settlement of health insurance-covered medical care costs, made according to Form No. C82-HD enclosed with Circular No. 178/2012/TT-BTC and complete such payment to the medical examination and treatment establishment.
- Submitting dossiers at the social insurance agency or via postal services (at the same time transfer of data files via the internet). - Signing report on settlement of medical care costs at the social insurance agency’s head office or medical examination and treatment establishment.
a/ A dossier must comprise: - A list of health insurance-covered medical care outpatients requesting for payment (made according to Form No. C79a-HD) - A list of health insurance-covered medical care inpatients requesting for payment (made according to Form No. C80a-HD), for health insurance-covered medical examination and treatment establishments that offer inpatient treatment. - A list of health insurance-covered medical supplies, made according to Form No. 19/BHYT, - A list of health insurance-covered medicine, made according to Form No. 20/BHYT - A list of health insurance-covered technical medical services, made according to Form. 21/BHYT b/ Number of dossier sets: 1 (enclosed with data files)
Within 40 days after receiving a complete dossier
- A list of requesters for payment of outpatient medical care costs, made according to Form No. C79a-HD, a list of requesters for payment of inpatient medical care costs, made according to Form No. C80a-HD, (for health insurance-covered medical examination and treatment establishments that offer inpatient treatment), promulgated together with the Ministry of Finance’s Circular No. 178/2012/TT-BC of October 28, 2012, guiding accounting applied for Vietnam Social Security. - A list of health insurance-covered medical supplies, made according to Form No. 19/BHYT, a list of health insurance-covered medicine, made according to Form No. 20/BHYT and a list of health insurance-covered technical medical services, made according to Form. 21/BHYT that are promulgated together with the Vietnam Social Security Director General’s Decision No. 1399/QD-BHXH of December 22, 2014, providing the implementation of health insurance in medical care
