The Hanoi Department of Health has just issued the Plan No. 283/KH-SYT on the implementation of the Law on Health Insurance and the field of medical treatment covered by health insurance of the Hanoi health sector in 2023.

Accordingly, in order to continue to innovate service styles and attitudes towards patient satisfaction and improve the quality of medical treatment, the Department of Health requires its attached medical units to build plans to reduce referrals to plan to develop new, spearhead, and in-depth techniques.

The Department of Health noted that hospitals must reform administrative procedures in medical examination and treatment; make appointment bookings by phone, or through the hospital's website or software connected to the hospital, in order to reduce waiting time, and avoid overload at the hospital; improve professional ethics and spirit of patient service attitude, ensure patient satisfaction.

In particular, it is crucial to well manage medical examination and treatment covered by health insurance, publicity and transparency, to prevent the abuse of technology and medicines, and profiteering from the health insurance fund; control the implementation of professional, technical, anti-drug, technical and testing procedures during medical treatment; ensure the interests of patients and ensure the balance of health insurance funds in the locality.
