Along with the Vietnam Social Security’s Fanpage, Facebook has officially granted blue verification badges to Social Security Office Fanpages of 53 provinces and cities across Vietnam. This is an important step to enhance the credibility and effectiveness of communication on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance policies as well as to bring information about social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance closer to the local people.

Vietnam Social Insurance (VSS) recommends that employees should not choose to receive one-time social insurance benefits, caused by immediate economic difficulties, because there will be "immediate benefits, long-term disadvantages".
