On August 13, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Social Security (VSS) held a conference to urge and resolve difficulties and obstacles in the collection and development of participants of social and health insurance and medical treatment covered by health insurance. General Director of VSS Nguyen The Manh attended and chaired the conference. The attendants were representatives of leaders of a number of units under the VSS; leaders of social security agencies of 6 provinces and cities: Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai, Long An, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Tien Giang, and Binh Duong.

Recently, the Steering Committee for implementation of social and health insurance policies in Hai Duong province has just issued Action Program No. 2230/CTHD-BCD dated July 29, 2022 on the implementation of resolutions on the implementation of social and health insurance policies. In which, by 2025, the whole province of Hai Duong has the proportion of people participating in social insurance accounting for about 55% of the labor force in the age group participating in social insurance, and the proportion of people participating in health insurance accounting for 95% of the province's population.
