Accordingly, social insurance beneficiaries can register to modify the form of receiving social insurance benefits from cash to personal bank accounts. VSS will provide guidance to social insurance beneficiaries, especially pensions and how to use the aforementioned public services as follows:

Option 1: Register to modify the form of receiving pension via personal accounts on the VssID application.

Step 1: Log in to the VssID application. At the ‘Personal Information’ screen, click ‘Public Service’.

Step 2: Select ‘Beneficiary receives social insurance allowance through his personal account instead of in cash and vice versa, or changes his information’.

Step 3: Fill in the required information (with a red asterisk). At ‘Receipt method - receive through wire transfer’ section. Enter the bank account number and bank name (specify the name of branch) that the beneficiary wants to receive - click ‘Send’.

Note: The registration information on the VssID application must match the bank account holder declared in this section (full name, date of birth, ID/citizen identification card number).

Step 4: VSS will send the OTP code to the beneficiary's phone number.

Step 5: Insert the OTP code on the app - click ‘Confirm’.

Step 6: VSS will send a message to the user's phone to inform that the personal account has successfully submitted the application. After 01 working day since the VSS system received the dossiers, the result of public service’s processing will be sent to the registered email of the user.

Option 2: Register to modify the form of receiving pension via personal account via VSS Public Service Portal.

Step 1: Access the VSS Public Service Portal at: https://dichvucong.baohiemxahoi.gov.vn/, then select login account (Username is the Social Insurance code – the number on Social Insurance book’s or the last 10 numbers on the Health Insurance cards of Social Insurance and Health Insurance participants.)

Step 2: Select the ‘Profile Declaration’ section.

Step 3: Find and select the public service named ‘Beneficiary receives social insurance allowance through his personal account instead of in cash and vice versa, or changes his information’, then click on the image of the declaration form next to it to declare information.

Step 4: Declare in the available information fields, then choose to receive through wire transfer and fill in information about the account number receiving the allowance and the confirmation code, then select ‘Confirm’.

Step 5: After confirming that the information has been fully filled in, the system will send a 6-digit verification code (OTP) to the registered phone number. Continue to enter the OTP code and select ‘Confirm’ to complete the registration procedure. When successfully submitting, the system will notify that the procedure has been completed.

In the complicated context of the Covid-19 pandemic, VSS Public Service will assist participants without going directly to the Social Security Office or post office to register for modification on the form of pension receipt. Only by using a personal computer or smart device, individual can register to modify the form of receiving pension from cash to personal account on the VSS Public Service Portal and the VssID application, contributing to the effective prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic./.
