More than 15 million VssID accounts approved and used nationwide

According to a report by the Customer Service Center (Vietnam Social Security), by the end of June 2021, 16 million VssID account registrations have been recorded nationwide, in which 15,075,024 valid dossiers have been approved.

To achieve that result, the Customer Service Center said that since its launch in November 2020, the implementation of VssID application has gathered attention of the whole political system, especially the opening ceremony of the application with the participation of the Prime Minister (PM), which was widely communicated, is an important motivation to help the social security authorities of provinces and cities more convenient in consulting with the Party committees and local authorities in order to give directions on implementation in the locality.

The direction of the Vietnamese social insurance system from central to local levels has created consistency in the implementation process; all cadres, civil servants and employees actively participate in the deployment of the application among workers and people;

VssID is constantly being upgraded in both interface and features, helping employees and people, many agencies and units realize the utility and practical benefits of the application, and voluntarily install and use the app and motivate and encourage the employees of their units to do the same.

In the context of the complicated epidemic developments and limited direct contact, the application implementation with online transaction utilities received the consensus of employees and people.

Up to now, 63 out of 63 social security agencies of provinces and cities have advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue documents directing the implementation of account registration and installation of the VssID application for employees in the area; launched an emulation movement to speed up the implementation of the application installation, etc.

In the coming time, in order to achieve the goals set out by VSS in deploying the VssID application, the Customer Service Center said that it is necessary to continue to strengthen the direction and leadership on deploying the VssID application among all units and individuals in the whole Industry. In the last 6 months of the year, local social security agencies need to have new and more creative methods to reach more difficult groups such as pensioners and participants of voluntary social insurance and household-based health insurance. To enhance communication using VssID in different forms and add features on the app to meet the needs of participants./.
