Binh Thuan Province’s Social Security presented health insurance cards to 300 people living in disadvantaged circumstances in Tuy Phong and Bac Binh districts.

Representatives of Binh Thuan Province’s Social Security give health insurance to disadvantaged people.

Deputy Director of Binh Thuan Social Security Nguyen Dinh Chat said there are 300 people living in disadvantaged circumstances in the province who can not afford to buy health insurance. They live in Tuy Phong and Bac Binh districts.

The expenses on health insurance are sourced from one-day wage donation of Vietnam Social Security’s employees. This is one of the grateful social activities of Vietnam Social Security to share the burden with disadvantaged people in health check-ups and treatment. This helps increase the coverage of health insurance, speeding up the road to universal health insurance.

At the ceremony, representatives of the commune and town authorities expressed their thankfulness to Vietnam Social Security’s support, saying that they look forward to continuously being assisted in the future.

On behalf of local people given health insurance cards, Ho Thi Anh, living in Lien Huong Town, Tuy Phong District, thanked the local authorities, especially Vietnam’s Social Security for giving health insurance cards for free to local people, creating conditions for people to enjoy the State’s healthcare services and helping them stabilize their family's businesses and have better-quality lives./.
