Eight groups to receive 6.92 percent rise in pension, allowances

From July 1, pension, social insurance allowance and monthly support of eight groups will increase by 6.92 percent.

This is the main content of Decree 88/2018/ND-CP on the adjustment of pension, social insurance allowance and monthly support issued by the Government.

As from July 1, 2018, pension, social security allowance and monthly support will rise by 6.92 percent from the levels in June 2018 for people of these following eight groups:

    ·      Officials, public servants, workers, military personnel, police officers and workers in the cipher sector, who are receiving monthly pension.

·      People who are receiving monthly support after work accidents or occupational diseases.

·      Staff members of commune, ward and town administrations regulated in Decree 92/2009/ND-CP, Decree 121/2003/ND-CP and Decree 09/1998/ND-CP, who are receiving pension and monthly allowance.

·      Military personnel who are receiving monthly allowance in accordance with Decision 142/2008/QD-TTg and Decision 38/2010/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister.

·      Police officers who are receiving monthly allowance in accordance with Decision 53/2010/QD-TTg dated August 20, 2010.

·      People who are receiving monthly support due to loss of working ability in accordance with the law, people who are receiving monthly support in accordance with Decision 91/2000/QD-TTg, Decision 613/QD-TTg dated May 6, 2010 and workers in the rubber sector who are receiving monthly support.

·      Staff members of commune, ward and town administrations who are receiving monthly allowance in accordance with Decision 130-CP dated June 20, 1975 and Decision 111-HDBT dated October 13, 1981.

·      Military personnel, police officers and cipher workers receiving similar salary to military personnel and police officers, who are receiving monthly support in accordance with Decision 62/2011/QD-TTg.

Decree 88/2018/ND-CP takes effect on July 1, 2018.
