In Nam Dinh Province:

On May 21st, the launching ceremony of Nam Dinh Social Security Office was attracted the attention of many residents in the area. Apart from parades on main streets and residential areas, the mobile propaganda teams were divided into small groups to conduct propaganda activities at markets, facilitating easy access and registration for voluntary social insurance and household health insurance for small traders and freelance workers.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Dung, the Director of the Nam Dinh Social Security Office, emphasized that after two years of being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, this launching ceremony aims to attract the attention of all layers of the population to the social insurance policies; thereby demonstrating the determination of the entire political system in achieving the goals of Nationwide social and health insurance. According to Mr. Dung, through the comprehensive of multiple solutions, with relatable and friendly communication messages that conveyed the humanistic values of the policies, the launching ceremony has helped foster additional trust among the people regarding social and health insurance policy.

Under the theme "Accompanying Social Insurance for a Better Quality of Life," Nam Dinh Social Security Office conveyed meaningful messages such as "Continuously improving social insurance policies for a better life for all Vietnamese people," "The state partially subsidizes the contribution premiums when participating in voluntary social insurance," "Voluntary social insurance for the retirement benefits of self-employed workers," and "Join Social Insurance - Contribute today, save for the future". These messages specifically targeted farmers and self-employed workers.

In Hai Duong Province:

Previously, on May 20th, Hai Duong Social Security Office also organized the launching ceremony to promote the Nationwide social insurance campaign. In his directive speech, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Head Deputy of the Steering Committee for Social Insurance and Health Insurance in Hai Duong Province, emphasized the significance of social insurance and health insurance policies. He also highly appreciated the organization of the launching ceremony to promote the propaganda of the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws regarding social insurance and health insurance.

Noting the set objectives, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hung requested that all levels, sectors, units, businesses, and service organizations intensify their propaganda efforts to spread widely in society, bringing about a change in people's perceptions and actions towards these policies. Specifically, it is necessary to innovate the content of propaganda, strengthen inspection, examination, and timely handling of any violations to ensure the rights of participants in social insurance and health insurance.

At the launching ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Huong, the Director of Hai Duong Social Security Office, pledged to coordinate with agencies, units, party committees, and local authorities to organize numerous practical activities to reach more people with the policies. According to Ms. Huong, in this launching ceremony, over 30 propaganda teams were established throughout the province, stopping at more than 120 locations, including local markets and crowded areas to broadcast radio, distribute leaflets, and provide policy consultations. Additionally, they organized conferences to disseminate and popularize the policies, dispatched propaganda teams to each household, residential area, hamlet, and village to disseminate information, provide advice, and mobilize people to participate in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance.

Furthermore, this is also an opportunity for Hai Duong social security office to communicate the organization and implementation of Resolution No. 28-NQ/TW on social insurance policy reform, as well as Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW on enhancing the work of protecting, caring for, and improving people's health in new situation; this further affirmed the political determination in leadership, guidance, and organization to implement social insurance and health insurance policies in accordance with the spirit of the Party's resolutions.

According to statistics, the province has established 59 propaganda teams/groups with 451 propagandists, stopping and providing policy advice at 171 locations. A total of 1,601 individuals have received policy consultation support. After the launching ceremony, there has been an increase of 241 voluntary social insurance participants and 344 participants in household health insurance.

In Sóc Trăng:

The launching ceremony took place from May 21st and will continue until June 30th with various forms of implementation, such as conducting online launching ceremonies at the provincial and the district-level Social Security offices. Afterwards, the provincial and district – level Social security offices will coordinate with the Culture – Sports – Broadcasting Centers in each district, town and city to organize mobile propaganda and broadcasting through loudspeakers at central markets, densely populated areas, remote and rural areas; along with distributing folded leaflets to promote voluntary social insurance and household health insurance policies. Additionally, Social Security offices will coordinate with staff from insurance collection service organizations to form teams that will conduct propaganda campaigns in residential areas, aiming to encourage people to participate in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance according to the set targets and plans.

Mr. Lâm Thanh Thiên, Deputy Director of Soc Trang Social Security office stated, "This launching ceremony aims to mobilize and create a competitive atmosphere within the entire provincial social security system. Additionally, it aims to strengthen information dissemination and communication of social insurance and health insurance policies and laws to the diverse layers of the population. Furthermore, it seeks to attract attention and encourage participation from all levels, sectors, and local authorities in promoting and developing participation in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance, contributing to achieving the targets for increasing the number of participants in social insurance and health insurance in 2023. Through this, it affirms the profound attention, leadership, and guidance of the Party, National Assembly, and Government towards the social security cause for the entire population."

To achieve the goal of expanding coverage of national social insurance and health insurance, Mr. Lam Thanh Thien requested the active coordination between the district-level Social Security offices and the service organizations in identifying specific target groups and potential areas, employing flexible, innovative communication methods that are suitable for the local context to increase the participation rate in social insurance and health insurance. Following the campaign launch, the provincial and the district-level Social Security Offices organized mobile propaganda activities at central markets and densely populated areas to convey the significance and benefits of participating in social insurance and health insurance, mobilizing the public to join voluntary social insurance and household health insurance throughout the province.
