Viet Nam Social Security (VSS) Director General, Nguyen The Manh signed and promulgated Plan No.2207/KH-BHXH on updating and supplementing Personal identification number/Citizen identity card of participants in VSS database to manage and install, approval, use by VssID-Digital SI application.
By the end of 2022, VSS strives for more than 90% of data of SI and HI participants that be authenticated, supplemented with population data (Illustration)
The plan implements the targets: “To ensure to gradually replace personal papers on the basis of integrating and verifying personal information and papers to the national population database on citizen by only using citizen identify cards, VNeID app of Ministry of Public Security, in which, priority is given to the following papers like HI” according to the Decision No. 06/QĐ-TTg dated 06 January 2022 of Prime Minister approving the Scheme on developing the application of data on population, identification, electronic authentication data for national digital transformation in the 2022-2025 period, with a vision toward 2030.
Specific targets are including: VSS provides to all Vietnamese SI and HI participants the SI codes in database that were managed, updated, supplemented the Personal Identification number/Citizen identify card and properly authenticated with the National Database of Population. Simultaneously, VSS combine the updating, supplementing and authentication of the participant database with the population database and the registration, installation, approval, and use of the VssID-digital SI application. By the end of 2022, VSS also strive for ratio from 90 to 100% of participants that will be updated and supplemented the Personal Identification number/Citizen identify card in VSS database and about 35 million people approved to use VssID app, in which expands VssID to 100% of group of participants in the same employers.
VSS Director General required that implementation of Plan needed to synchronous and effective, ensure the correct processes and procedures as prescribed. VSS Plan has identified, detailed instructions on step-by-step implementation and assigned specific tasks to each relevant affiliated unit, localities Social Security Offices./.
