From Oct 1st 2021, the enterprises affected by Covid-19 pandemic shall be entitled to a reduced premium rate of 0 percent for 12 months

On Sept 24th 2021, the Governemnt issued Resolution No. 116/NQ-CP on support policy for employees and employers affected by Covid-19 pandemic from the Unemployment Insurance Fund.
Beneficiaries: Employers are eligible for Article 43 of the Law on Employment (excluding State agencies, socio-political organisations, people’s armed forces and public non-business agencies who are paid by the State budget) and covered by unemployment insurance before Oct 1st 2021.

Rate of reduction: premiums is reduced from 1% to 0% of the wage fund of employees covered by unemployment insurance.
Duration of premiums reduction: 12 months from Oct 1st 2021 to Sept 30th 2022.
Viet Nam Social Security Portal shall update this support policy.
