The Prime Minister recently approved the National Strategy on Ending AIDS by 2030. The Strategy aims to promote HIV/AIDS prevention and control activities to reduce the number of new HIV infections and AIDS-related deaths, to end AIDS in Vietnam by 2030, minimizing the impact of the epidemic on socio-economic development.
