Settlement of compulsory social insurance problems for contract workers at commune-level People's Committees

The Government has just issued Resolution 101/NQ-CP on unifying the plan to solve problems in the implementation of compulsory social insurance for deputy military commanders, commune-level police chiefs and employees under labor contracts at the commune-level People's Committees.

Specifically, if deputy chief military commanders, commune-level police chiefs, who have worked from November 2003 to present, have paid compulsory social insurance premiums, they will be entitled to enjoy the social insurance regime in accordance with the Law on Social Insurance when the conditions are met or the period of payment of compulsory social insurance premiums has been reserved according to the provisions of the Law on Social Insurance.

Employees whose labor contracts are signed by the commune-level People's Committees of full 3 months or more and have paid compulsory social insurance premiums, and the salary used as the basis for social insurance payment is the salary stated in the labor contract, will be entitled to social insurance regimes if they satisfy all conditions or have the time to have paid compulsory social insurance premiums reserved in accordance with the Law on Social Insurance.

Funds for settlement of the social insurance regime for deputy military commanders, commune-level deputy police chiefs and people working under labor contracts at the commune-level People's Committees shall be paid by the social insurance fund under the provisions of the Law on Social Insurance./.
