1. Integrating the deduction of premium payment in the renewal of health insurance cards by household:

This is a public service that many people are interested, and after being put into practice, it has received high appreciation and positive implementation from the social security agencies of the provinces and cities directly under the Central Government.

To implement, the VSS has restructured the business process and issued relevant documents. With the active cooperation of the Ministry of Public Security and the Government Office, the VSS has completed the integration of the service of renewing health insurance cards for households with reduced premiums on the National Public Service Portal from July 2022.

After more than 4 months of implementation, the VSS system has successfully received and processed 298 transactions of renewal of health insurance cards by households with deduction of premium payment. On the National Public Service Portal, there have been nearly 24,000 successful transactions using the service of renewing health insurance cards by households without payment reduction, and participants only need to enter the health insurance card code for renewal.

2. Connecting birth registration - permanent residence registration - issuance of health insurance cards for children under 6 years old; death registration - removal of permanent residence registration - funeral allowance:

The VSS has actively coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security, the Government Office and relevant ministries and branches to adjust and upgrade the software, share and connect with the inter-connected public service software to meet the requirements to issue health insurance cards for children under 6 years of age and settle funeral allowances belonging to the affiliated service groups.

On the morning of November 20, 2022, VSS units (IT Center, Department of Social Insurance Implementation, Department of Social Insurance Book and Health Insurance Card) participated in professional guidance and guidance on functions on the software for staff of Hanoi and Ha Nam Social Security Office at an online conference to train and deploy connected public service sites.

By the end of November 30, 2022, in the two localities, 739 applications for the issuance of health insurance cards for children under 6 years of age were received and 21 applications for payment of funeral fees were made via 2 groups of connected public services.

3. Settlement of unemployment benefits:

On April 12, 2022, the VSS cooperated with the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Government Office and successfully integrated the public service to solve unemployment benefits on the National Public Service Portal.

By the end of November 30, 2022, the VSS has received more than 33,000 cases to serve unemployment benefits for employees from the National Public Service Portal to confirm and pay the unemployment insurance premiums./ .
