- IMPLEMENTATION OF THE GOVERNMENT'S PROJECT 06

- On January 6, 2022, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 06/QD-TTg approving the project to develop the application of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve the national digital transformation in the period 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030 (hereinafter referred to as Project 06). In particular, Vietnam Social Security is assigned to perform many important tasks.

COORDINATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF USING CITIZEN IDENTIFICATION TO REPLACE PAPER HEALTH INSURANCE BOOK IN MEDICAL TREATMENT

- Currently, nationwide, there are 11,521 health care facilities with health insurance that can look up information on health insurance cards using chip-based ID cards for medical treatment covered by insurance (accounting for about 90% of the total number of health insurance facilities nationwide).

- INTEGRATING AND PROVIDING LEVEL-4 ONLINE PUBLIC SERVICES

- By the end of September 2022

- Vietnam Social Security has completed providing 100% online public service of level 4 for all administrative procedures of the sector.

- Vietnam Social Security has provided 07 public services on the VssID-Digital insurance application

- Vietnam Social Security has integrated and provided 20 public services under 14 administrative procedures of Vietnam Social Security on the national public service portal.

- Thus, at present, all administrative procedures of the Vietnamese social insurance industry are carried out in the digital space. This creates convenience, minimizes travel time, saves time and costs for individuals and units when participating in and enjoying social and health insurance regimes and policies.
