On Nov 7th, Viet Nam Social Security to honor typical enterprises on implementing social, health and unemployment insurance in the South

According to the Plan No 2942/KH-BHXH, on Nov 7th 2022 in Ho Chi Minh city, Viet Nam Social Security shall organize the honoring ceremony on typical enterprises on implementing social, health and unemployment insurance in the South. It is expected that 103 enterprises of 31 provinces/citites in the South shall be honoured and receive VSS Gerneral director’s certificate of merit.

On Oct 31th, in Ninh Binh province, Viet Nam Social Security organized the Honour Ceremony for 87 enterprises in 20 cities/provinces in the North on typical acheivement on implementing social, health, unemployment insurance.

This is the first time for VSS to organize the honour aimed to encourage enterprises with a lot of effort to overcome the diffilculties, implement social, health and unemployment insurance policy and law on social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance in the context of Covid-19 pandemic.

109 typical enterprises in Viet Nam which was selected to receive certificate of merit and honor at the Programme are not only the units with many acheivements on implementing policy and law on social, health and unemployment insurace but also gain excellent production and business results, well follow reponsibilities with the State, implement society responsibilities and follow enterprise morality  selected to receive the merits after approving result on  hiep y from administrative management service offices, industries in the area.

The enterprises receiving the merits are totally autonomy units and gains a lot of extinctive  acheivements on implementing social, health and unemployment insurance. The process on reviewing the merit is implemented according to the steps regulated in VSS’ Law on Emulation and Commendation issued with General Director’s Decision 2418/QĐ-BHXH dated on Dec 24th 2020.

 On 31st  Nov 7th, Viet Nam Social Security honoured 87 enterprises in 20 Northern provinces/cities  on implementing social, health and unemployment insurance

Selecting typical enterprises needs ensuring the transparent, objective, quitable principle based on the employer’s voluntary; following related legal regulation.

The criterion Viet Nam Social Security selects typical enterprises: Following legal regulations on social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance (Not to violate social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance regulated in Law on Social Insurance, Law on Health Insurance, Law on Employment, Criminal Code, Decree regulates administrative violation punishment in the field of labor, social insurance, Vietnameses work abroad under the contract; Decree regulates administrative violation punishment in the field of health…); social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance contribution; social insurance book, health insurance card are returned to employees; social and health insurance benefits are paid to employees (paying record on suggesting employee’s social insurance regime benefits under regulated time; avoid cheating, falsifying record to profiteer social insurance, unemployment insurance); benefits payment (social insurance benefit is paid adequately, timely in case employees receive benefits from units); cooperate  with social security offices about: deploy digital transaction with social security offices; propaganda, inspection, information supplication…

Besides, there are some sub-criteria such as implementing tax duty; labor safety, envirionment protection; security; fire prevention and fighting; food security; participating charity activities (presenting health insurance card, social insurance book, supporting citizen suffering from natural calamity…)

The honoring ceremony is a practical activity to acknowledge and display enterprises’ contribution to social security career, pervasive examples in implementing social, health, unemployment insurance policy and law; encouraging the whole society to implement policy, Party’s guideline, State’s guideline, policy, State’s law on social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance of employees and people, contributing to ensuring social security and developing the nation’s economy-society.
