VSS cooperates with French partners to hold training course in digital communication skills on social and health insurance

During 2 days (April 23rd – 24th), in Hanoi, Vietnam Social Security (VSS) held a training course titled "Steps for planning and foundation for implementing digital communication plans" for the workforces in the field of the press and communication of VSS and Hanoi City Social Security.

The training course is an activity within the framework of cooperation program between VSS and French partners. Speaking at the event, the Director of the International Cooperation Department Nguyen Tien Thanh said that recently, in order to improve the capacity of the wrokforces who are working in modern communication on digital platforms, VSS has actively looked for and coordinated with international partners who has strengths in this field so as to exchange and develop cooperation, training and fostering plans and programs.

In particular, VSS and social security agencies and organizations and French partners have had a strong, effective and diverse cooperative relationship in many fields for a long time, including cooperation in the field of  medicine, health care and training. On January 22nd, 2024 at the French Embassy, in the presence of French Ambassador Mr. Oliver Brochet, VSS and representatives of French partners, the French Chamber of Commerce Promotion in Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the period 2024-2026.

"The training coursetoday is one of the specific activities within the framework of cooperation between the two sides" - Mr. Thanh shared.

Instructors presented training topics

At the course, Ms. Tran Le Thanh Van, Communications Director of Sanofi Group (France) and her colleagues presented and guided the team of reporters, journalists, and communications workforces at Social Insurance Magazine, Media Center, Communications Divission (Hanoi Social Insurance) with topics on: Building a digital communications plan; Digital media content production skills; Optimizing contents on social network platforms; Applying artificial intelligence (AI) in content production.

The training course also helps students to access international experiences in implementing communication strategies in the digital-platform age. When they returned to their professional work, they can continue to research and apply for capacity development and provide effective solutions and methods to improve the quality of communication work at their unit./.
