In the opening speech, Mr. Dang Khac Loi - Deputy Director of the Press Department (Ministry of Information and Communications) said: The conference aimed to more effectively promote the propaganda of legal policies on social insurance, health insurance and unemployment insurance by 2020, implementing Resolution No. 28/NQ-TW of the Central Executive Committee of Session XII, aiming to accomplish the goal of developing voluntary social insurance participants according to the target groups at the agency. Introducing the administrative procedure reform of Vietnam Social Security to reduce implementation time and compliance costs for people and businesses in the past. At the same time, it is necessary to exchange, discuss and share experiences in information and propaganda of social insurance and health insurance. In particular, highlighting the role and responsibility of the press in the propaganda about social insurance and health insurance.

Delegates were trained on contents such as: The role and responsibility of the press in the propaganda about social insurance and health insurance; promptly criticize negative acts that intentionally violate the Law on Social Insurance and the Law on Health Insurance; Introducing Resolution No. 28/NQ-TW of the Central Executive Committee of the 12th term and Resolution No.125/NQ-CP, introducing new issues on social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, etc. by two experienced trainers in this field, who are Dr. Do Chi Nghia - Editor-in-Chief of People's Representative Newspaper and Mr. Dieu Ba Duoc - Head of Vietnam Social Insurance Policy Implementation Department.

Deputy Director of the Press Department Dang Khac Loi suggested: The Departments of Information and Communication have plans to propagate, disseminate deeply and widely and spend appropriate time propagating and disseminating the contents of Resolution No. 28. -NQ / TW to create social consensus, sectors, levels and businesses in implementing social insurance policy reform in their localities; Direct the grassroots information system to carry out information and communication activities about benefits when participating in social insurance and health insurance suitable for each locality and region. Press agencies provide information and propagate in a synchronized, focused and diversified manner, suitable to each target group and region in order to create a strong and comprehensive change in social insurance and health insurance work; increasing the number of news, articles, and periodic broadcasts suitable to propagandize, disseminate and answer policies and laws on social insurance.

Deputy Director of the Press Department Dang Khac Loi also suggested that in the coming time the press agencies should actively propagate the revised Labor Code 2019 which was just passed at the 8th Session of the XIV National Assembly. /.
