Draft amended Law on Social Insurance
On May 30th, Deputy Director General Le Hung Son held a working session with a group of experts from the International Labor Organization (ILO), led by Mr. André Gama, the ILO's Director of Social Security in Vietnam. The purpose of the meeting was to consult on the amendment and supplementation of the Social Insurance Law. The meeting was attended by leaders of several units under the Vietnam Social Security.

Adjustment coefficients of monthly salaries, incomes for which paid social insurance premiums are based
The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has released Circular No 01/2023/TT-BLĐTBXH, specifying coefficients for the adjustment of monthly salaries and incomes for which social insurance premiums have been paid. The provisions are applicable as of January 1, 2023.

Deputy General Director Dao Viet Anh gives social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in Tra Vinh and Soc Trang
On December 16, the delegation of Vietnam Social Security (VSS), led by Deputy General Director Dao Viet Anh, together with the social security agencies of these two provinces, presented social insurance books and health insurance cards to needy people in Tra Vinh and Soc Trang provinces. This is an activity in the program of giving social insurance books and health insurance cards launched and implemented by the VSS in many localities across the country.

Viet Nam Social Security (VSS) has issued the Documentary No 2482/BHXH-TT to guideline to promote the communication of the results on implementing the Resolution No 96/NQ-BCS of the Party Civil Affairs Committee of Viet Nam Social Security dated 24 August 2017 on “Innovating, improving the quality, effectiveness of communication of social insurance (SI), health insurance (HI) in new situation” (hereinafter to as Resolution No 96).
