Regarding connecting, sharing data and using chip-based  ID cards, using electronic identification accounts to replace paper-based HI cards for medical examination and treatment with HI cards: The system verified nearly 75.8 million population information in national database on HI with national population database. At the same time, VSS system supplied, shared over 102.5 million turns of social insurance, health insurance records with national population database. Over 12,326 health care facilities, accounting for 96.26% of the total across the country, have deployed HI examination and treatment with the chip-based ID cards, over 17 million turns of HI information lookup were made successfully with chip-based ID cards in HI medical examination and treatment nationwide.

Regarding intergrating, providing online public services on National Public Service Portal:

-Intergrating household HI premiums reduction when extending the household HI cards: VSS system received and extended 748 HI cards through the service of extending household HI card, the premiums is reduced through VSS’s Public Service Portal and National Public Service Portal.

- Integrating birth certificate – permarnant residence- HI card issuance to children under 6 years old; death report, deletion of permanent residence registration and funeral allowance: Until now, Ha Noi and Ha Nam social security offices, which have been piloting two integrated services - received and solved 17,383 dossiers of application for health insurance cards for children under 6 years old and 655 others of application for payment of funeral allowances which were submitted online to the two integrated services.
