WHO pledges to support Vietnam to live safely with COVID-19
NDO/VNA - The World Health Organisation (WHO) will continue to work with the Government of Vietnam to plan for and transition towards endemic COVID-19 and learning to ‘live safely with the virus’ over the long term, even when there are new surges in the future, Dr. Kidong Park, WHO Representative in Vietnam has affirmed.

Vietnam aims to have 95% of senior citizens covered by health insurance by 2025
NDO - Vietnam has set a target to have 95% of its senior citizens covered by health insurance by 2025, under a national action plan for the 2021-2030 period. The rate is expected to increase to 100% by 2030.

NDO – Nearly 2.4 million workers and 81,589 units in Ho Chi Minh City have been provided with cash relief totalling over 5.6 trillion VND (US$245.2 million) from the Ho Chi Minh City Unemployment Insurance Fund as of December 27.
