The country develops, the social security is increasingly sustainable

According to the Prime Minister, our country is developing and innovating day by day, especially the pillars of social security which play an important role for human goals. Health insurance coverage in Vietnam has increased and now nearly 85 million people have participated; The number of people participating in social insurance is more than 15 million people - these are great successes, which are very significant in the context of deeper and deeper international integration.

On the afternoon of November 27, when visiting the Vietnamese Embassy in Seoul, visiting overseas Vietnamese and meeting Vietnamese young intellectuals in Republic of Korea, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc informed about the country's great achievements.

Pointing out main features about the situation of the Embassy and Vietnamese community, Vietnam Ambassador in Republic of Korea - Nguyen Vu Tu said that Republic of Korea is a market with high labor demand and more and more Vietnamese people now come to work here. Therefore, the Prime Minister wishes in the discussions with Republic of Korea’ leaders mentioned letting Republic of Korea continue to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese employees to come there to work.

Overseas people in Republic of Korea also made recommendations to the Prime Minister, such as asking Republic of Korea to give more scholarships to Vietnamese students; create more favorable conditions for visa procedures as well as the Vietnamese Government supports the activities of the Vietnamese Association in Republic of Korea such as teaching Vietnamese to overseas Vietnamese; create favorable conditions for businesses to interact and coordinate with domestic agencies, ministries, branches and localities to promote trade and investment between Vietnam and Republic of Korea better, etc.

Noting and addressing each issue, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said he mentioned the scholarship issue at a meeting with the Republic of Korea’s leader. At the First Mekong-RoK Summit, the Prime Minister proposed the development of high quality human resources through promoting cooperation in improving the quality of education, training and strengthening scientific and technological cooperation, encouraging scholarship programs and exchange experts.

Regarding the opinion of the students, the Prime Minister recalled the story of settling down and making a career in Republic of Korea a of the two Ly families of Vietnam; At the same time, he expressed his wish that overseas compatriots and students will promote the fine traditions that their ancestors built on this land, integrating well with the host society to study better and be more successful.

Promoting the responsibility of the Embassy of Vietnam in Republic of Korea, the Prime Minister hoped that the Embassy would promote its achievements, solidarity and good performance, in which more attention must be paid to the Vietnamese community.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister met with young Vietnamese intellectuals living and studying in Republic of Korea. Hearing the aspirations of young intellectuals to want to "do something for the homeland and the country" and to expect the Government to assign specific articles to young intellectuals, the Prime Minister said that today's meeting will begin a new chapter on gathering young Vietnamese intellectuals in Republic of Korea. The Prime Minister affirmed that the Party and State will have a better policy of gathering intellectuals, creating better conditions for intellectuals to contribute to the Fatherland.
