Extremely difficult communes and villages to continue to enjoy social security policy

The Prime Minister has just issued the Decision No. 72/QD-TTg on the continued enjoyment of issued social security policies by communes and villages in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

Specifically, the communes and villages are approved in Decision 582/QD-TTg and Decision 103/QD-TTg on the list of extremely difficult villages, communes in region III, region II, region I of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas in the 2016-2020 period to continue to enjoy the social security policies issued from January 1, 2021 until the Decision approves the list of extremely difficult villages and communes in region III, region II, region I of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas in the 2021 - 2025 period issued and effective by competent authorities.

Provincial People's Committees are assigned to review and identify extremely difficult villages and communes in region III, region II, region I of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas in the 2021 - 2025 period according to Decision 33/2020/QD-TTg.

The Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs shall assume the prime responsibility for, appraise and decide the list of extremely difficult villages and submit to the Prime Minister for consideration and make decision on the list of communes in region III, region II and region I of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas in the period 2021 - 2025, to be completed before March 31, 2021.

The Decision takes effect from January 16, 2021.
