Monthly minimum wage increases to 1.49 million VND from July 2019
The National Assembly on November 9 approved a resolution on the State budget estimate for 2019 with 86.19 percent of deputies voting “yes”. Accordingly, from July 1, 2019, the basic monthly salary will be raised from 1.39 million VND to 1.49 million VND (from 60 to 64 USD) per month.

Adjustments to calculation of pensions for female workers retiring from 2018 – 2021
The Government has issued Decree No. 153/2018/ND-CP to adjust the amount of pension a female employee who retires from 2018 to 2021 and has paid social insurance premiums for 20 to 29 years and six months shall receive.
