According to Department of HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control, in the first nine months of 2019, 7,779 new HIV cases were reported, increasing the total number of HIV-positive people to nearly 212,000. By October 2019, 41,191 HIV/AIDS-infected patients have received ARV treatment offered by the health insurance fund; nine provinces including Tuyen Quang, Kon Tum, Binh Dinh, Ha Giang and Hung Yen have successfully provided the full coverage.

Vietnam Social Security has just issued Decision No. 1556/QD-BHXH prescribing the duration of preservation of dossiers and documents formed in the operation of Vietnam Social Security system. The decision takes effect from October 25, 2019.
