On June 14, 2022, Vietnam Social Security (VSS) issued Official Letter No. 1576/BHXH-CSYT to social security agencies of provinces and centrally-run cities, social security offices of the Ministry of National Defence, and the People's Public Security (collectively referred to as provincial-level social security offices) about ensuring the supply of drugs and medical supplies for medical treatment covered by health insurance.

On June 16 and 17, in Quang Ninh, Vietnam Social Security (VSS) held a training conference on inspection and examination in 2022 in the Northern provinces for leaders, civil servants and officials in charge of inspection and examination of social security agencies in 31 provinces and cities.
